His father Alfred Omishore, who previously worked for the Ministry of Defence and then Home Office as a senior advisor in the immigration and visa office, says that the horror his family experienced could "happen to anybody." The father-of-four, who says he is demanding justice for his son, recently took part in an annual march for the friends and family of those who have died following police contact. Over 1,000 people took part in the United Friends and Family Campaign (UFFC) on October 29 and walked to Downing Street where they handed in a letter requesting an urgent meeting with the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Alfred Omishore spoke at the march demanding justice for his son who was Tasered by police ( Daily Mirror) Alfred said: 'I never thought this could happen to me. It can happen to anybody, it can happen to any family. '[The police] are not meant to be the enemy of people. They are paid to protect taxpayers, they shouldn't be injuring or killing people. 'The victims of Taser are vulnerable people, people with mental health crises. They need to be supported and cared for but they are getting the opposite.' Alfred says that he believes that the policing system is broken and that 'it needs to be fixed.'
