A man has received so many ‘incorrect’ fines he has resorted to covering his licence plates with tape.
Wayne Robson, 50, lives close to a restricted area near West Croydon station, in south London.
This is in one of the Croydon Healthy Neighbourhoods – where side streets are blocked off to avoid them being used as alternatives to busy main roads during peak traffic times.
These ‘rat run’ drivers face fines of up to £130.
