A father is accused of beating, choking and burying his six-year-old daughter alive because she apparently lied.
The girl told police that her father, John Kraft, 50, would ‘bury her in the yard when he believes that she is lying’, states a criminal complaint obtained by KDKA.
Social workers in Pennsylvania observed bruises on the girl’s face and body in September. Kraft’s daughter and her sibling told social workers two weeks ago that he buried her in a hole in the yard.
The girl said that Kraft would leave her in the yard ‘until she told the truth and that she would come out of the ground dirty and smelling like sewage’, states a police report.
Greene County District Attorney David Russo said it is one of the worst child abuse cases he has ever seen.
