Curtis Jones is set to sign a new contract with Liverpool as Jürgen Klopp continues to place his faith in the midfielder.
Jones, who has been at the club since under-nine level, has a deal which runs until 2025, but that will be replaced with new terms.
The 21-year-old has experienced a frustrating season to date with injuries restricting him to just seven appearances. However, the Liverpool manager Klopp continues to rate the homegrown talent highly and believes he can remain an important player in the future.
Naby Keïta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both out of contract at the end of the season and likely to leave, while 36-year-old James Milner is another whose present deal expires next summer. Liverpool have also made midfield reinforcements
