Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr banned from registering players after Leicester City dispute

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Al-Nassr have been banned from registering new players by FIFA after failing to pay Leicester City payments they owe from signing Ahmed Musa in 2018.

The Saudi Pro League side which exploded in popularity when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo last season have also added Marcelo Brozovic to their ranks, while the likes of Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech have also been linked with the club.

However, they will not be able to bring in the Morocco international or anyone else due to the ban on registering new players.

The ban is due to the signing of Musa from Leicester in 2018, with Al-Nassr initially shelling out around £14m for the forward, reports the Mirror.
