Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United future is in doubt after he criticised the club’s owners and manager Erik ten Hag – as well as Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney
Cristiano Ronaldo has given Piers Morgan’s son the boots he scored his ‘final Manchester United goals in’ – as more bombshells continue to emerge.
Ronaldo, 37, has dominated the headlines since the first quotes from his sensational interview with Morgan emerged on Sunday night. The Portugal international has criticised his employers and several former colleagues – including Ralf Rangnick and Wayne Rooney.
Ronaldo has scored just three goals for United this season – with his most recent coming in the 3-0 Europa League win against Sheriff on October 27 – and many critics have questioned his form and future in recent months. The veteran forward has turned to broadcaster Morgan to reveal his side of the story and give his son Spencer a telling gift.
Spencer has posted an image of Ronaldo’s yellow Nike boots on Instagram, as well as a video of the player confirming they were his. Referring to his poor record this season, Ronaldo joked: “I scored a few goals [wearing these boots] – not many! But I scored a few.”
