Elaine realised he had forged her signature and feared he planned to kill her for her money, and for the life insurance payout. Stephen denied this, and once again managed to hide the fact he had already killed Leo Thompkins, Teddy Thompkins and business client Rufus Donahue. There could be trouble ahead though as Rufus' estranged wife Lou has made it clear she won't rest until she learns the truth about his death. Rufus is believed to have drowned in his swimming pool after a drink and drug binge, while viewers know that Stephen drugged him and then drowned him. It was no accident and Lou is prepared to prove it. But viewers believe Lou telling Stephen her theory has made her a target, and that she will be the next victim, and Stephen's first female victim. As Lou becomes determined to expose what happened to Rufus, believing it was foul play, could she finally be the one to expose Stephen? If she does find out the truth, will it cost her her life?
