The John Stape book has also had an impact on Hope's friendship with Sam (Jude Riordan). After Nick (Ben Price) told Fiz that Sam only skipped school because of Hope, a furious Tyrone arrived at his flat and punched him, telling Nick to stay away from his family. The violence saw Nick stop Sam from contacting Hope, which upset Fiz hugely. Coming up, as this new video shows, Fiz and Adam (Sam Robertson) decide to approach the situation in a calm manner, meeting with the publisher of the book. The writer explains that because the book has already gone to print, it isn't possible to have Hope's name edited out. The angle of the conversation is about Hope's troubled past – the author is fully aware of her history with pyromania thanks to the young girl being groomed into giving messages to MadDog, but Fiz argues that being a serial killer's daughter doesn't make her evil – Hope is just vulnerable and confused. It appears the points Fiz make are enough to get the publisher thinking about how damaged Hope's future would be if her name is published within the book…but if it's already gone to print, is there anything that can be done?){kind=link}
