After the police arrested members of the group after a bomb was planted in the Speed Daal van and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) was stabbed, Lauren went to live with her mum in Cornwall. Since her return, we've discovered she still has feelings for Max despite him having moved on with new girlfriend Sabrina (Luana Santos). How far she's still under his influence is debatable, although Cait Fitton told us it's understandable that Reece's evil thinking has affected his daughter. 'I think she's inherited her dad's beliefs and opinions, and she's never been able to make her own choices and have her own decisions and make her own ideas of things,' she said. 'I think parents play such a big role within a child's life that if you're constantly surrounded by hate, do you know any different?'
