McGregor has been known to pick fights on social media during his UFC career, but 170lb contender Belal Muhammad this time fired the first shot claiming the superstar won’t win again
Conor McGregor issued a surprisingly calm response to Belal Muhammad who claimed the Irishman wouldn’t win another UFC fight.
The Irishman has not fought since last July when he broke his leg in a second consecutive defeat by Dustin Poirier. While continuing his rehabilitation from injury, McGregor has been involved in several high-profile feuds on social media against fellow UFC stars including Jorge Masvidal and Islam Makhachev.
McGregor claims to be plotting the “greatest comeback ever” and he will be eyeing a return to winning ways having won just once in his last four octagon outings. Muhammad is the latest person to troll McGregor for his decline in form, writing on Twitter : “Rewatched the O’Malley v Yan fight three times and I think that at the end of the day Conor sucks snd will not win another fight.”
Despite having previously produced angered responses to similar messages in the past, McGregor hit back with a series of laughing emojis followed by the hashtag “customer”. McGregor has won just one fight which came in 2020 against Donald Cerrone when making a comeback after a two-year hiatus following his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
