The designer Christopher Kane has resurrected his business despite the fashion brand being put into administration after failing to find new investment.
The assets of his failed company have been bought by Kane, 40, and his older sister Tammy, 45, and transferred to a new firm. That will enable the duo to continue with catwalk shows using the Kane name and branding.
The eponymous label was started by the Scottish designer in 2006 but warned last month that it was in serious financial difficulty. Efforts to find new investors or someone to take over the entire operation were unsuccessful.
