 However, in what is perhaps the most creative challenge, the crew set up an entire fake retirement village – Sunset Pines – where the star will reside in a specially prepared house, alongside actors and carers in his 'community', as he experiences life as an octogenarian. In the exclusive clip, the detailed set shows digitally created pictures of an elderly Chris, alongside his wife, Elsa Pataky, hanging on the walls, as well as a mocked-up ID pass for the now 80-something. The 39-year-old is also shown being dressed in a special suit made to mimic the feeling of him being almost 50 years older, limiting his movements, sight and hearing among other things. Dr BJ Miller, a palliative care expert, is the brains behind the experiment, having written and spoken before on the transformative power of accepting ageing and death.
