The former RB Leipzig star was a marquee signing but he suffered an injury blow before the season ever started, leaving the Blues light in the final third. Nicolas Jackson, who made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool, is among the options available to Pochettino. Scoring goals was a major issue for the west Londoners last term and the addition of more firepower will aid their push for the top four. Already Robert Sanchez has been signed from Brighton and started in between the sticks on Sunday afternoon but competition is set to arrive. Pochettino has confirmed that the club are looking for someone who can fill the void left by Nkunku: "We are working in the market also, trying to find a solution, maybe short term, medium and long term to find the right profile for the team." Chelsea's free-spending nature has led to a huge overhaul of players, which negatively impacted their season last term.
