The defender is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford following a frustrating 12 months in west London. It comes after United made a formal loan offer for former Chelsea ace Marcos Alonso. The Barcelona full-back had been identified as a target given he has just a year left on his deal at the Camp Nou. But, at seven years Alonso's junior, Cucurella is deemed a better option.
