Chelsea news: Blues ‘submit £26m bid’ as Mauricio Pochettino eyes another forward

Chelsea have lodged a big-money bid for Club Brugge teenager Antonio Nusa, according to reports. The Norwegian wonderkid is the latest in a long line of young forwards with admirers at Stamford Bridge, and a raft of summer arrivals has left Mauricio Pochettino spoilt for choice. The Blues have already signed Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, Deivid Washington and Angelo this summer to boost their options going forward. Christopher Nkunku also arrived in west London, 12 months after a lucrative deal was agreed with RB Leipzig. But Pochettino and co are in no mood to slow down. According to Belgian media outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Chelsea have lodged a £26m offer for Nusa, who has started the new season with one goal and one assist in three league games. The move would reportedly involve the teenager heading back to Club Brugge on loan for the rest of the season, providing the bid is accepted.
