It’s even better if it comes at a cheaper price. A new ranking from InterNations has found the cheapest destination in the world for British expats. One beautiful country in Asia has been named the best country in the world for expats looking to save money. Vietnam topped the ranking for personal finance with more than five in five expats saying they were happy with the cost of living. Over 70 percent of expats were satisfied with their financial situation in Vietnam compared to just 58 percent globally. One expat in Vietnam from the USA said: ‘What I love most about Vietnam is the low cost of living.’ It’s unsurprising that a high number of expats said the cost of living was a key factor that motivated them to move to Vietnam. But it’s not the only reason expats love it. More than four in five expats said they found the local residents generally friendly. Almost three quarters were happy with their work-life balance and over 60 percent were pleased with the number of career opportunities.
