We're sure many are already joking about Chris Pratt taking over for Mario considering he voiced the character in the recent animated movie. Considering how infrequently mainline entries are released it's not impossible they could get him for each new entry, but it does seem unlikely he'd turn up to do spin-offs like Mario Party or Mario Golf. On the one hand he'd probably charge a pretty penny to just shout 'Wahoo!' and 'Let's a go' into a microphone but on the other he'd probably get the whole job done in an hour – so that could keep the costs down.
