Two people were reportedly injured when a group of residents attempted to force their way into a public meeting, despite being banned from the building.

On Wednesday police were called to the Civic Centre when a number of people attempted to “force entry” inside the council chamber.
A video posted on social media from inside the building alleged people were not being allowed entry to the meeting, and two people, a man and a woman, had been assaulted.
