Three friends who were found mysteriously dead inside their Airbnb likely died of carbon monoxide poisoning, local authorities have said.
An investigation was launched into the three US citizens’ deaths, after Courtez Hall, 33, and Kandace Florence and Jordan Marshall, both 28, were found dead in Mexico City during the Day of the Dead celebrations.
Ms Florence’s boyfriend said he was on the phone with her on the night of October 30 and she told him she was feeling unwell.
He explained that their call was disconnected.
