 '[The ginnel garden] went on show at the Tatton Flower Show a couple of weeks ago,' he said. 'It was then uprooted and transplanted into this ginnel in Moss Side.' Ever the professional, he kept speaking as the cat rubbed against his back and sat on the other side of him. Dave continued on with his segment (Picture: BBC) 'I'll be talking to the RHS in a moment about why they're so keen on ginnel gardens.' Unable to ignore the cat any longer, he gave it an extra pat and a 'Hello!' As the section of the show drew to a close, Dave looked keen to spend more time fussing the cat. The cat continued to fight for camera time throughout the segment (Picture: BBC) Viewers reacted to the adorable meeting. The animal better get themselves an agent quickly as one person remarked: 'The cat is a star'. Dave also might want to arrange a trip to Pets At Home as another said: 'He has to keep him now!' 'Cute. Very professional as he didn't shoo it away,' shared another. This cat isn't the only animal determined to get in on BBC Breakfast. An adorable cat wanted 15 minutes of fame but rather than applying for Love Island, they strolled into shot during a live BBC Breakfast report.
The feline joined journalist Dave Guest for a segment on how residential alleyways are being transformed into community ‘ginnel gardens’.
When Dave, 64, took a seat in one of the gardens in Manchester earlier this week, the white cat decided to join him.
