ANDY CARROLL got off to the perfect start at new club Amiens as he helped transform the game as a subsitiute.
The 34-year-old made the surprise switch to the French second division side last week, choosing to leave League One side Reading.
Carroll, who wears the No99 shirt at Amiens, came on as a 66th minute substitute versus Guingamp with the match level at 1-1.
And he got off to a dream start as just 11 minutes into his debut they scored to go 2-1 up.
Former Chelsea wonderkid Gael Kakuta then found the back of the net before Louis Mafouta made it 4-1 to wrap up the three points.
