NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Carlos Alcaraz is already dreaming of a Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic after advancing to the third round on Friday.
The world No.1 will next play 25th-seed Nicolas Jarry as he continues his quest to lift the second Grand Slam trophy of his career following his maiden major triumph in New York last year.
The 20-year-old won the Queen’s Club title in the build up to the Championships and has looked ruthless in his first two matches against unseeded French players Alexandre Muller and Jeremy Chardy – beating both of them in straight sets.
Alcaraz is arguably Djokovic’s biggest threat in SW19 and the Spaniard is already looking ahead to a potential showdown in the final.
