After news emerged that Akers had been listed as inactive, the running back himself took to social media to break the silence. In a rather cryptic post, Akers admitted that he was 'confused' by the decision from the Rams organisation. "I'm just as confused as everybody else,' Akers wrote on Twitter before the Rams vs. Niners game kicked off. 'I'm blessed though." The Rams did not report that Akers had sustained any kind of injury prior to Sunday's game.
