Call Of Duty 2024 is Black Ops: Gulf War suggests latest theory

An actor claims to be playing SAS hero Peter Ratcliffe in next year’s Call Of Duty, reinforcing rumours that it’s set during the Gulf War.

They haven’t officially announced it yet, but it’s an open secret that this year’s Call Of Duty is Modern Warfare 3 by Sledgehammer Games, and that it apparently started life merely as DLC – before being upgraded to a full release.

It’s always been assumed that 2024’s game would be a more traditional release, presumably developed by Black Ops makers Treyarch, since it’s their turn to make a new game.

There have been some leaks already, but Facebook posts by little known actor Luke Charles Stafford claims that he is playing the role of Ratcliffe in next year’s game, which is indeed by Treyarch.

The posts have been deleted now (although there is a new one saying he just auditioned for the role of Superman in James Gunn’s new movie) but they showed him in what seemed to be a motion capture studio, talking to people wearing Call Of Duty T-shirts.
