Activision Blizzard has now acknowledged the existence of Call of Duty 2023, rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Call of Duty fans can look forward to a new series entry later on this year, though it likely won’t be entirely new.
The Call of Duty community is pretty much ready to move on from the current series offering, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone (previously known as Warzone 2) suffering a consistent drop in player numbers since release. The release of Season 4 Reloaded seems to have tipped some Warzone players over the edge, with the update breaking performance for PC players.
The good news is that Call of Duty 2023 will be released in just a few months, but the bad news is that the title could made from recycled content. Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty 2023 so far.
Activision Blizzard tend to release a new Call of Duty title around the same period every year, so it’s pretty easy to have an educated guess. Plus, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has also already seemingly leaked the release date, as well as the early access and beta dates.
