Bubba Watson admits he could be kicked out of LIV Golf in damning message

Bubba Watson has endured an underwhelming run on the LIV Golf Series this year, and is admitted he is ready to be ‘kicked out’ if he continues to underperform

Bubba Watson has admitted he would understand being ‘kicked out’ of his LIV Golf team after struggling to find his best form on the breakaway circuit.

Watson is one of 12 LIV Golf captains and is therefore exempt from the Saudi-backed league’s relegation process at the end of the 2023 campaign. The two-time Masters champion is in charge of the RangeGoats, which includes the man leading the way individually this year, three-time winner Talor Gooch.

Out of the 48 players, Watson finds himself in 36th in the seasonal individual standings, after enduring a tough run in his first full campaign as part of the breakaway league.

In nine tournaments so far this season the American star has broke into the top-10 just once, with his best finish coming in 10th at LIV Tulsa. There is no doubting the talent Watson has shown throughout his impressive career, with his two Masters titles as good as any accolade in the game.
