Brussels terror attack killers found guilty of murder after 32 died in atrocity

A court in Brussels found six men guilty of terrorist murder after the 2016 suicide bomb attacks in the city killed 32 people. More than seven years after the attack shook the EU capital to the core, the court returned the verdict in the wake of a long trial and 19 days of jury deliberations. Many of the people on trial had already been convicted of taking part in the terror attacks in Paris months earlier. Salah Abdeslam was arrested days before the Brussels bombings and had been found guilty in France in 2022 of the 2015 Paris bomb and gun attacks, which killed 130 people.
