Bruno Fernandes was on the harsh end of some particularly scathing criticism from Man United icon Gary Neville last term and it appears the duo still haven’t buried the hatchet
Bruno Fernandes is said to still be fuming with Manchester United icon Gary Neville following his bruising criticism last term.
The former defender tore into the Portuguese playmaker in the aftermath of the Red Devils’ shocking 7-0 humiliation at the hands of Liverpool. Speaking after the game, Neville said: “They have not been epitomised more than Bruno Fernandes, who has been embarrassing – a shambles – in this game.
“Bruno Fernandes is stood in the centre circle with his arms raised saying âWhy isn’t it me coming off?’ Honestly. I think some of his behaviour in the second half has been a disgrace.”
Those words appear to have been ringing in Fernandes’ ears since. He hit back at the criticism back in April with a shrouded dig.
