NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Bruce Willis will be back with a festive flick this Christmas as Detective Knight: Redemption hits our screens, the sequel to his film Detective Knight: Rogue released earlier this year.
As the king of is-it-or-isn’t-it-a-Christmas-movie with Die Hard, it looks like the 67-year-old, whose family announced his aphasia diagnosis in March, is firmly back in that wheelhouse with this latest action-thriller role, wrapped in tinsel.
The trailer for the trilogy’s second movie, released by Lionsgate over the weekend, shows the star’s character, Detective James Knight, in custody in New York, following the events of the first film (Halloween themed, naturally), where he killed the man responsible for the death of his partner.
This time, he finds himself in the middle of a jailbreak led by The Christmas Bomber, a brutal fanatic whose Santa Claus disciples are terrorising the city, and with the promised return of his badge if he takes them down.
