She later made a heartfelt plea to fans that "those with dementia matter". The 45-year-old model reposted a video with her 850,000 social media followers to share the importance of treating those with dementia dementia with patience. In the clip, a nurse shared the story of a caregiver telling her that one of her patients with dementia "doesn't matter". She went on to explain how this mindset is all too common.
