Bruce Springsteen has cancelled tour dates for the third time this year, citing medical treatment he is undergoing for peptic ulcer disease.
Springsteen promised to reschedule the cancelled performances, beginning with a show that had been set for Thursday at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, as well as a previously missed date in Philadelphia a few weeks earlier.
The 73-year-old singer-songwriter has cancelled eight dates this month with his E Street Band.
“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows… We’ll be back to pick up these shows and then some,” the star said to fans in a message posted to his account on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Thank you for your understanding and support.”
