Actress and model Brooke Shields has opened up about a regret, admitting she wishes she hadn’t been so open about a particular aspect of her personal life.
The 57-year-old actor recalled how she’s publicly talked about her virginity over the years in Tuesday’s episode of her podcast Now What? With Brooke Shields.
During the conversation, she shared her regrets about her 1985 book, On Your Own, which included details about her being a virgin at the age of 20. She didn’t want that to be the focus of the book, she says, but that’s what it became.
The book was, the Hollywood actress says, to be about ‘leaving home for the first time and going to college’, but it ultimately made headlines for its section on her virginity.
