Britons on certain DWP benefits to get second cost of living cash

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced a support package worth £15billion to help the country through the cost of living crisis. Among the measures is a one-off payment of £650 for eight million families on benefits to ease the pressure of rising energy bills.The first payment was applied to those on Universal Credit, Tax Credits, Pension Credit, and legacy benefits in July.
