The Toxic singer, 41, has spoken out about a 'traumatic incident' with Victor's bodyguard on Wednesday evening in LA, after it was originally reported by TMZ. Britney described how she attempted to tap the 19-year-old sports star on the shoulder, before she was 'back-handed' by a member of his security detail. According to the musician, she was simply trying to congratulate the athlete on his efforts, but was met with 'physical violence.' Dubbing the story 'super embarrassing' to share, Britney took to social media with the lengthy statement, in which she claimed to be 'aware of the player's statement where he mentions, 'I grabbed him from behind,' but I simply tapped him on the shoulder.' Victor previously addressed the incident at a press conference where he claimed he did not know it was Britney until hours after, and had felt someone 'grab [him] from behind.'
