Britney Spears has shared an angry post on her Instagram page hitting back against cops who conducted a welfare check earlier this week. Officers were reportedly sent over to her Los Angeles home on Wednesday morning when a member of the LAPD’s Mental Evaluation Unit asked for the check. According to TMZ, they did not speak to Britney herself but reported that the singer’s security told them she was doing fine. This isn’t the first time this has happened – back in January, police called around the singer’s home after she deleted Instagram for the seventh time in less than a year. Cops determined ‘that there was no reason to believe she was in danger’ at the time. She’s now posted another knife-based update – this time a provocative image of a ballet dancer’s legs strapped with large knives. ‘Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks???’ Britney asked in the caption. ‘Come on America … we cooler than that, right ???’ Britney Spears recently split from her husband Sam Asghari (Image: GETTY) Britney went on to tell her side of what happened on Wednesday before demanding an apology from the LAPD. ‘The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them,’ she recalled. ‘I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now…ITS ENOUGH!’ She continued to vent her frustrations, even getting in a dig at her mom Lynne Spears with whom she has famously feuded over the years. ‘Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!!’ Britney continued. ‘As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. ‘People need to be responsible for their actions!
