Andrew Reay, 46, fondled the teenager’s leg and offered to pay her for sex during the deeply uncomfortable four-hour flight from Lanzarote to Manchester, where she had “no escape”
A middle-aged British ex-pat who molested a teenage stranger on a plane and nearly forced the easyJet flight to divert has dodged prison.
Businessman Andrew Reay, 46, fondled the 17-year old Spanish girl’s leg and suggested he pay her for sex whilst ordering from an inflight drinks menu after he sat down by her when she moved seats before take off.
During the nightmare four-hour journey from Lanzarote to Manchester, balding Reay who runs a sightseeing ticket agency on the island, said he wanted to be ‘super friendly’ with her.
He was also ‘manspreading’ – a term referring to the practice of men sitting in public transport with legs wide apart – in his seat so the girl could barely move.
