Decarbonisation is one of the biggest challenges ever faced by aviation, and if we are to meaningfully reduce carbon emissions we must embrace new, clean technologies. Although the latest generation of aircraft, such as the Airbus A320neo, burn significantly less fuel than their predecessors and are a step towards achieving net-zero flight, realising this ambition requires a revolution.
