'There will be the next Bridgerton child, in this case Colin, and we'll find out what his romantic outworkings are, there'll be a bit of How's Your Father, no doubt, there'll be some lovely frocks, there'll be some lovely locations. 'I will have some trouble that comes at me in surprising ways, and it'll be more of the same, but with surprises. It's got extra glam to it this season, I would say.' Teasing some of the main differences, Adjoa went on: 'Some of the structures that we've got for the storytelling we've got this season are slightly different and slightly new and that's refreshing.' The series creator Chris Van Dusen previously defended the inclusion of fewer sex scenes in season two, saying: 'We've never done a sex scene for the sake of doing a sex scene and I don't think we ever will. Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh has promised that sex scenes are back in business in season 3, after fans noticed the heat was turned down in season 2.
There were definitely some steamy moments in season two of the show, which followed Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), but compared to season one scenes between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Hastings (Rege-Jean Page), it was positively tame.
