Boy, two, mauled to death by dogs in back garden of hotel where family stayed

Jyedon Pollard, aged two, has tragically died after he was attacked by two large dogs at a hotel in Cowra, New South Wales, in Australia and suffered head and neck injuries

A two-year-old boy has died after being attacked by two dogs in the backyard of a hotel in Australia.

Jyedon Pollard was playing outside a roadside hotel when he was mauled by what were reported as a Rottweiler and a cattle dog in Cowra, New South Wales, at around 10am on Tuesday morning.

The dogs were believed to be owned by staff at the Country Gardens Motor Inn and they have now been taken away by authorities.

Kesha Pollard, the boy’s mum, reportedly said that she and her children were staying at the hotel while waiting for permanent accommodation.
