A BOY of eight needed hospital treatment after being burned by Britain’s most dangerous plant.
The lad, known only as George, came out in blisters after playing in bushes next to a park.
His mum took him to hospital where doctors realised they were caused by giant hogweed.
Its sap stops skin protecting itself against sunlight so it burns easily.
George’s blisters cleared up with antihistamines.
