Boy, 18, dies in hospital car park after row as murder investigation launched

Police have arrested a 17-year-old local male on suspicion of murder and also an 18-year-old local man on suspicion of aggravated burglary after a teenager died in the car park of Bodmin Hospital

A boy aged 18 has died in a hospital car park after an altercation, police have said.

The teenager, who has not been named, fled a house in Bodmin, Cornwall, and tragically died in the car park of Bodmin Hospital in the early hours of this morning before he received medical attention.

Officers have arrested a 17-year-old local male on suspicion of murder and also an 18-year-old local man on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Cordons remain in place in Wallace Road where the incident took place and around the area as enquiries continue.
