 A 13-year-old boy has admitted to causing death by dangerous driving after killing Marcia Grant by running her over with her own car. Mrs Grant, 60, died after the incident in April this year. The grandmother died after her own car collided with her outside her home in the Greenhill area of Sheffield at around 7.10pm. The youngster, who was 12 at the time of the incident and cannot be named, was due to go on trial this week accused of murder. But on Tuesday he pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to causing Mrs Grant's death by dangerous driving and this was accepted by prosecutors. The judge, Mrs Justice May, said the boy will be sentenced on December 1. In a family statement, her Marcia's family paid tribute to the 60-year-old who was described as a 'pillar of her community.' A statement said: 'Marcia was a warm, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and a pillar of her community.' 'Her loss has already sent shock waves through all who knew her or was lucky enough to be included in her orbit. 'We ask for privacy at this time while further investigations are underway and the family try to come to terms with this enormous loss.'
