In a recent interview, the 64-year-old explained that during a recent dinner with his spouse and his 19-year-old son Nicholas in Beverly Hills, he began to show symptoms of a stroke, including slurred speech. After the teenager called the emergency services on 911 at the insistence of Heather, 54, the paramedics informed the family that Terry's vitals were normal. However, Heather was adamant that she wanted her husband to have further testing in hospital, which is how they discovered that he had suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA), also known as a 'mini stroke'. 'I learned many things from this terrifying experience,' Terry told E! News. 'Two: If you have traveled recently, make sure you move frequently to keep blood flowing to prevent clots. 'Three: PFO is more common (20-30%) than people realize and TIAs and strokes can occur in anyone at any age.'
