Now, the health and beauty retailer has exclusively revealed to The Sun the first seven to pull their shutters down this year. Among the shops shutting their doors for goods are two in Wakefield, one in Glastonbury and another two in Woking. Some of the closures will be taking place later this year, while some will be closing as early as the end of the July. Boots has confirmed that all staff working in these locations will be offered alternative roles. "All team members from these stores will be offered alternative roles.' The pharmacy chain employs over 52,000 team members in total and it's expected that the wider closures will not lead to any redundancies. It will be shutting a total of 300 shops in the UK and 150 in the US.
