LEGENDARY women’s professional bodybuilder Lisa Lyon has reportedly died.
The 70-year-old iconic figure in the weightlifting community won the first International Federation of Bodybuilders Woman’s World Pro Bodybuilding Championship in 1980.
According to TMZ Sports, Lyons died Friday at her home in California while in hospice care.
The report continued and specified the cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
After becoming a champion, Lyon rose to stardom and put women’s bodybuilding on the map.
