A £200 fine can be issued if the player is not wearing the correct kit, while leaving their kit in the changing room can result in a £100 fine. Failing to wear a GPS or heart rate monitor ready for training can also see players slapped with a £100 fine, while failing to return the items can result in an identical penalty. Leaving snus - a tobacco product used by many football stars - on the changing room floor can also see players hit with a £50 fine. But the heftiest fine which players can be hit with amounts to a cool £3,000. A fine of this value will be issued if a star reports late for training on a home matchday. The Blues have enjoyed a strong start to the season, with a draw and win in their opening two Championship games and a midweek victory in the Carabao Cup first round. Speaking on the fines last season, former Premier League ace Troy Deeney told Birmingham Live : "The gaffer [John Eustace] has made a no excuse culture... "We have had players leave the day before a game who were about to start – OK on to the next thing. He is not looking for an excuse and that mentality has crept into us. "From my perspective, we have got rules and regs in place and he has allowed me to actually enforce those."
