Television show Big Brother is a reality game show in which the contestants – called the House Guests – live in a custom-built home that is being video taped around the clock. During the show, the contestants nominate each other to be evicted by the public vote and the last three remaining win a large cash prize. At the end the grand prize winner receives $750,000 (£590,000), the runner-up contestant gets $75,000 (£59,000), and America’s favourite House Guest wins $50,000 (£39,000).
Julia Chen Moonves will be hosting the new season of Big Brother premiering on CBS on Wednesday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET. Audiences can also stream the new episodes on Paramount+.
