Biden’s Democrats ‘ready to go’ in midterm elections despite GOP lead

Former Chief of Staff to Joe Biden Susan Platt has told Nigel Farage that the Democrats are “ready to go” and have “found their energy” in spite of fears of public unrest and even violence provoked by the midterm elections. The elections will be held November 8, with all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats being contested.President Biden’s party are projected to lose a number of seats, although this is common for the party in power during the midterms.Former POTUS Donald Trump has also been on the campaign trail, with rumours he may announce another run at the White House for 2024.Ms Platt said on GB News: “[In] the last 100 years the party in power in the White House has lost an average of 29 seats [in the midterms].”So given that, in all honesty we are prepared to lose some seats.
