He added: "I look back and I just think 'what a difference a year can make'. This time last year I was making my deliveries, and enjoying it, but now I'm back on the boats and have been out to Barbados.' After appearing on Benidorm, Asa went on to join the cast of Benidorm Live in 2018/19. He was originally spotted for the role while working in Benidorm by the show's creator. Discussing his time on the hit show, Asa said: "Working on Benidorm it didn't seem like a big deal at the time, I wasn't nervous or anything like that, it is only looking back I realise how big it was.
