Ben Stiller isn’t sure on Dodgeball sequel

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

It doesn’t matter if Vince Vaughn has a ‘great’ idea for a Dodgeball sequel, Ben Stiller is ‘wary’ of revisiting the beloved story.

Co-star Justin Long has revealed he tried to bring his colleagues together to chat about a follow-up to the 2004 hit movie, and while he would ‘love’ to jump back on that court and go up against the Cobras not everyone is convinced by the potential project.

The film focused on Vince’s character Peter La Fleur and Ben’s frankly deranged White Goodman, who are rival gym owners who face off in a dodgeball tournament – Peter’s underdog Average Joe’s vs White’s snazzy Globo Gym’s Purple Cobras.

Justin – who played Justin Redman in the film – explained he and Vince had discussed a potential sequel while working together on upcoming festive film Christmas with the Campbells and felt he had to ‘facilitate’ a meeting between Vince and Ben when the Night at the Museum star appeared on his Life Is Short podcast in June.
